When a URL is pasted, it parses the query string, compares each key against the registry, and reconstructs the URL without the matching parameters. This happens entirely on the client side. The registry covers major social platforms (Instagram's igsh, Spotify's si, LinkedIn's trk, TikTok's various identifiers), marketing platforms (all utm_* variants, fbclid, gclid, msclkid), email trackers (emci, emdi), and affiliate marketing parameters. The tool also handles edge cases like parameters embedded in hash fragments and URLs that contain multiple layers of tracking. For bulk cleaning, you can paste multiple URLs at once, and each is processed independently.
